Album Redemtion & Submission is the first studio recorded album by Slovenian group Mihajlov Trio. It contains 8 tracks influenced by folk/country/blues genre.
But nevertheless it sounds fresh with new ideas and styles to the genre, contributed by bandmembers, who each have diffrent musical backgrounds. That's why we cant say this album is typical country/blues, folk work. We can say its kind of swingy, simple country/blues with a bit of pop flavour. Most of the songs lyrics on the album tell stories familiar to this genre such as grief,women,desire and how the world went wrong.

Lyrics were entirely written by lead singer Vasja Mihajlovič-Woody, who released his first solo album (Travel Songs) three years before. Album was heavly influenced by country/blues genre, so he decided to try something new. He colaborated with current drummer Adnan Buljubašič, who gathered his musical experiance all around the world.on the behalf of bass tunes sits Domen Oštir who swiftly and softly grooves the melodies of so caled album redemption&submission.
